Chime Rewards Terms & Conditions

Unless otherwise defined in this document, capitalized terms used here have the same meaning as those terms appearing in the Deposit Account Agreement provided to holders of the Chime Spending Account (also referred to as the "Spending Account" or "Chime Account" - a demand deposit account).
  • Eligibility

    The Chime Rewards feature ("Chime Rewards") is automatically activated for each Spending Account in good standing, i.e., the Spending Account does not have a negative balance. If the Spending Account is cancelled, repossessed, revoked, or closed for any reason, the holder of the Spending Account (the "Member") will no longer be eligible for Chime Rewards.

    1debit Inc., is the program partner responsible for managing the Spending Account ("Chime" or the "Sponsor") and is solely responsible for the operation of Chime Rewards and as such reserves the right to cancel or modify Chime Rewards, or terminate the eligibility of any Member for the feature, at any time with or without prior notice.

  • Opt-out

    To opt out of Chime Rewards at any time, the Member must contact Chime Member Services at 844-244-6363.

  • What are Rewards

    Chime Rewards offers all participating Members the ability to receive an automatic credit to the Chime Spending Account of a specific dollar value (the "Promotional Value" or "Instant Cash Back") by making a specific purchase using their Chime Visa® Debit Card at the place of business, store, company, online website, or category of merchants identified in the offer subject to the Individual Reward Terms (described below), or by performing the qualifying steps outlined in the Individual Reward Terms. Each such offer is known as a "Reward."

    The Promotional Value will be credited automatically to the Member's Spending Account within one (1) business day of successful redemption of a Chime Reward.

  • Individual Reward Terms

    Each Reward will have its own unique eligibility requirements, including but not limited to these examples: specific store location(s); the eligible time and date; minimum purchase threshold; the specific category of merchant (as defined by Visa U.S.A. Inc.); and/or a set of specific qualifying steps required to redeem the Reward - such as performing actions on the Mobile App, Website, or making deposits to the Member's Spending Account.

    The specific eligibility requirements of each Reward will be disclosed in any materials describing the Reward whether at the Website (www.chimebank.com), in the Mobile App, email messages, or otherwise.

    The currently available quantity of Individual Rewards will vary and then change as Chime Members redeem such Rewards or as the Sponsor updates the quantity per its discretion. Rewards are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. This means that visibility of a Reward in the Mobile App or Website at one point in time does not guarantee its availability at a future date: however, the currently available quantity will be communicated clearly in the Mobile App and Website at all times.

  • Merchant Products & Services

    Rewards, as indicated in the Individual Reward Terms, may be made available by a specific participating merchant (the "Merchant"). In those cases, each Merchant is solely responsible for the goods and services it provides to the Member and any and all injuries, illnesses, damages, claims, liabilities and costs (the "Liabilities") the Member may suffer, directly or indirectly, in full or in part, whether related to the redemption of a Reward or not. By participating in Chime Rewards, The Member agrees to waive and release the Sponsor and its banking partner, The Bancorp Bank and any subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees and agents from any Liabilities arising from or related to any act or omission of a Merchant in connection with the redemption of a Reward or the services or goods the Merchant provides in connection with a Reward.

  • Exceptions

    Purchases made for gift cards, gift certificates, electronic gift certificates, or similar stored-value card products may not qualify for the Reward and may not receive the Promotional Value.
