The Position

We’re seeking a Head of Business Development to forge new distribution channels and monetization opportunities for the company. This position reports to the CEO. You’ll have responsibility to create and manage our strategic partnerships with the guiding principle of helping our rapidly expanding member base improve their financial health. 


  • Identify and build new distribution channels to acquire new Chime members
  • Forge partnerships with like-minded companies that offer complimentary offerings that Chime members could benefit from
  • Creatively structure and lead contract negotiations
  • Deeply understand the drivers of our business (from top of acquisition funnel to downstream conversion and retention) to inform partnership structures
  • Prioritize and execute only the highest impact deals
  • Work closely with our growth and product teams to successfully implement and optimize partnerships

About You

  • You have 7+ years of relevant experience in strategy, finance or tech deal making experience. Established fintech relationships and network are a plus but not required.
  • You’ve demonstrated and ability to develop relationships and negotiate partnerships with the most senior executives at companies ranging from start-ups to large corporations
  • You’re passionate about mobile, fintech and the opportunity to help build a major financial services brand
  • You move fast and are obsessed with performance, numbers and impact
  • You’re fun to work with and we’d enjoy hanging out with you
